Processing Soil Contaminated with Japanese Knotweed
This year we installed and commissioned a Reekie RSS3000 Soil Sterilising System with a very important recycling company with depots spread across the North of Germany.
This recycling company obtained permits to process soil contaminated with Japanese Knotweed using the Reekie RSS3000 Soil Sterilising System.
To ensure efficient treatment of the soil, large roots, wood, rocks and stones are removed by a suitable screening machine.
The screened soil was load into the RSS3000 Machine by loading shovel and the throughput taking the soil from ambient temperature to the required temperature with residency time to efficiently treat the Japanese Knotweed rhizomes was in excess of 55 Tonnes per Hour.
